As of October 2021, Mazzini Lab Benefit Company has made a dedicated commitment to the Museion, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Bolzano, establishing a partnership aimed at the realization of excellent services aimed at the in-depth analysis of risks related to the valuable art collections housed within the museum building.
Our mission has been focused on creating a Security and Emergency Plan that can preserve and protect priceless works of art.

Activity Timeline
- October 2021 marked the beginning of an unprecedented collaboration with Museion, a time when we kicked off the project with a structured kick-off, devoting ourselves to information gathering and a rigorous site survey to gain a thorough understanding of the needs and peculiarities of the art collection.
- In December 2021, we passed the first important milestone with the implementation of the first practical exercise. This activity aimed to test the effectiveness of our first draft of the Safety and Emergency Plan for the collection, demonstrating our practical commitment to ensuring the safety and protection of artworks in critical situations.
- During April 2022, we delivered final documents of great value to the Museion, including a thorough Risk Analysis, a Risk Treatment Plan, and an updated Safety and Emergency Plan. This represented a significant step toward putting in place concrete measures to protect the cultural heritage housed within the Museum.
- June 2022 saw the implementation of another practical exercise, this time focusing on securing cultural heritage affected by an emergency. Our practical methodology and specific expertise proved to be crucial in ensuring a timely and effective response.
The long-term commitment came to fruition with the start of work on updating the Safety and Emergency Plan in June 2023, demonstrating our constant focus on continuous improvement. As of March 2024, work is still in progress, highlighting our ongoing commitment to providing the Museion with solutions that are always state-of-the-art and adapted to the most current needs. This sequence of events underscores our dynamic and proactive approach, ensuring Museion a solid and lasting partnership in the field of cultural heritage security.
