Mazzini Lab is pleased to announce the launch of Charisma
A project co-financed by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Program.
Mazzini Lab is the leading partner of the Erasmus+ Charisma project
Our participation in the Erasmus + program sees us engaged with a project entirely dedicated to risk prevention, and in particular to the professional figure of the Risk Manager for Cultural Heritage (Risk Management for Cultural Heritage, Agreement n ° 2021-1-IT01-KA220- VET-000034797).
The project, of which Mazzini Lab Società Benefit is the leader, is carried out in partnership with Arte Generali, the branch of the Generali insurance company dedicated to the art world, and three prestigious European universities: the Universität für Weiterbildung of Krems, the University for Foreigners of Perugia and the Ústav Teoretické A Aplikované Mechaniky from the Czech Republic.
The project concept
The most urgent issue that should be resolved as soon as possible to ensure an efficiency of performance in the sector is the official recognition of the Risk Manager for Cultural Heritage, a highly specialized figure who acts as a link between the different professionals operating in the cultural sector. The skills of a Risk Manager specialized in the safeguarding of historical-artistic collections represent in fact a point of connection between different disciplines: between fitters and curators in the phase of organizing an exhibition, between registrars and transporters during the loans of works of art, between restorers and insurers during the signing of a policy or compensation for a claim.
